Passthrough firmware
Leo was confused as to having firmware in Pass-Thru Modules:
**************************************************************************************************
Hello folks,
I've always considered a PT module as a piece of bare metal. I'm wandering what its firmware does, then.
Thanks,
Leo

Jeroen had a response:

Hello Leonardo,
The firmware on the PT model (as visible in the OA CLI via command show update) is the low level fw like FRU level (equal to bootcode styled as in a NIC).
Its always suggested to have this updated when possible (keep in mind to do this in a maintenance windows as traffic will be interrupted).
Cheers,
Jeroen

Does this help clarify things? Any other words of wisdom?
