Trouble accessing GbE2c Layer 2/3 Ethernet Blade Switch
Today I tried to access our HP GbE2c Layer 2/3 Ethernet Blade Switch. The IP was not responding to a ping. I then attempted to access it via the console port and is displaying the following:
I2c: return timout
statusReg: 0x00000010
addrReg: 0x000000fe
controlReg: 0x00000080
freqReg: 0x00001029
Warning: Failed to read the ISMIC interupt reason info block!
I'm not finding any info about this from an online search. Does anyone have any information about the warning I'm receiving?
Thanks,
Jaycee

Re: Trouble accessing GbE2c Layer 2/3 Ethernet Blade Switch
Hello,
Would recommend the below in off production.
1. Reset the switch with the reset button/pin on the switch itself.
2. If not physically reseat the switch and check.
If issue still persist please log a support case to investigae further.
I am an HPE employee.
Thanks,
