UDP-49623

On our HP Ethernet blade switches and OA's when our network security team scans them theyare saying that UDP-49623 is open on them and that we need to justify why that is. I have gone though the HP documentation I can find online and I do not see anything about this port. Does anyone know what it is used for and/or how to disable it?

Thanks in advance.

Re: UDP-49623

I see a few people have looked at this post. If this is the wrong place for the question could you please direct me to the correct place to get the information? Because we are required to explain all ports that are open on our devices on our network this is something I have to get the answer for so any help would be appreciated.

Re: UDP-49623

I have the same requirement. We do nmap scans against all devices and need to provide justification for ALL listening ports.. Vmware does a great job of explaining all their ports. All vendors should scan their own devices and provide a simaple table list of ports their devices listen on, with an explanation.
