24 hrs acclimatization for ProLiant Servers Relocation
Hannah was looking for advice:
*************
I would like to get your advice on what would be the best practice in relocating ProLiant servers from 2nd to 4th floor of the same building. Is it recommended to acclimatize for 24 hours before powering up on the new location?
Any advice will be very much appreciated.
*************
Input from Peter:
******************
It depends of the conditions during the relocation. Let’s say that at the original place temperature is 18-22 Celsius. They you remove them from the rack and transfer over office area – or something – where the temp is usually 24-25 Celsius maximum.
I think no acclimatization is needed.
***************
Any other advice for Hannah?
