We have 4 499253-B21 power supplies already in c7000 enclosure.
We want to add additional PSUs to the enclosure, however 499253-B21 does not appear to be available anymore. Can we use 499243-B21 instead? Both PSUs have the same spares part number and the same description, (HP 2400W Gold Ht Plg Pwr Supply Kit)

Solution
As long as the spares numbers match, you can mix them. The product descriptions, wattage, and efficiency ratings all match as well, you shouldn't have any problems with mixing those part numbers.
