BL460c G6 with OA 3.20: Is this a power issue/concern?
Terri needed some input:
******************
Some info:
Dec 14 12:11:33 OA: Blade 6 has been allocated 325 watts but iLO is reporting the blade is powered off.
Dec 14 12:12:11 OA: Momentary Press virtual command enacted on blade 4 by user Administrator.
Dec 14 12:12:11 OA: Server blade in bay 4 has been powered on
Dec 14 12:13:21 OA: Server blade in bay 5 has been powered on
Dec 14 12:13:43 OA: Blade 5 has been allocated 330 watts but iLO is reporting the blade is powered off.
Customer has 6 blade servers. The first 4 are fine. Bay 5 & 6 both appear to have flakey 8GB Emulex LLpe1205 mezz cards in them.
Is there any power concern with this c7000?

Insufficient data – the OA message that the blade was allocated power but iLO is reporting the blade is powered off typically means that the blade did not turn on. I think you will find that you also cannot turn that blade on from the iLO GUI or iLO CLI.
This symptom has happened on some server blade models in the past.
Mezz card operation is really independent of server blade power – although the blade must be turned on to use the mezz card J.
An OA show all provides all the info needed regarding the enclosure power, hardware info, firmware versions, OA and iLO logs.

Any other suggestions or comments for Terri?

If PMC Firmware version is showing as unknown, then it may be a casue of issue.
