BL490c G7 - No F8 for iLO RBSU
Should the BL490c G7 have the F8 for iLO RBSU at startup? I cannot find it and I need to reset the iLO IP.

Re: BL490c G7 - No F8 for iLO RBSU
Hi,
When iLO RBSU is enabled, the iLO Option ROM prompts user to press F8 to start iLO RBSU , during server POST (Default). If iLO RBSU is disabled, the prompt is not displayed.
Using iLO RBSU to configure iLO RBSU access settings you can enable to access :
1. Press F8 during POST to enter iLO RBSU.
2. Select Settings , Configure , and then press Enter . This will open the Global Setting Screen.
3. Select the iLO 3 ROM-Based Setup or iLO 4 ROM-Based Setup Utility option, and press the spacebar to toggle the setting to Enabled or Disabled .
4. Select the Require iLO 3 ROM-Based Setup or iLO 4 RBSU Login option, and press the spacebar to toggle the setting to Enabled or Disabled .
5. Press F10 to save the settings.
6. Select File , Exit to close iLO RBSU.

Re: BL490c G7 - No F8 for iLO RBSU
Or Simply hit Anykey when prompted, during POST.
During POST, you will be prompted to hit anykey, if you want the F8 promp's for the ILo and the Smart Array controller.
You will get the hit anykey message, when it has completet sensor, ILo etc. test (When all the bullits are blue, lower right corner).
You must react swiftly.
