BL495C G6 has 96gb installed but only 32gb available?

I have a few BL495c G6's which all have 12 x 8gb dimms installed. As POST starts it shows only 32gb available, If I go in to F10 - Diags and check the memory it shows 12 x 8gb dimms installed and along the bottom it counts the memory and says 32gb available 96 configured.

Why do I only have 32gb available, is there a setting i have to select to let it use all 96gb?

1. you must have 2 processors ( 2d socket must be populated)
2. both dimms slots must be populated in a memory bank
3. 16 slots available and you use only 12 = slot must be populated farstest from the processor.

i have 2 cpus

dimms are being installed in pairs

and i've leaving the last 4 slot near the processors empty (2 free each side) so the empty slots i have are 15h, 16h and 7d, 8d

I've noticed a slight difference with dimms which i don't know if that is the issue.

i have some of the following installed over 2 servers, i'm just wondering if the number after the 555 in each one has to be the same, is it CL rating? because i think available on these server has been on dimms which have the highest number installed?

right i've found the fault.
it appears that on a bl495c g6 that is the server doesn't like the memory it will count the memory but not use it as available. on that list of memory dimms above i've found the Hynix 8GB 2Rx4 PC2-5300P-555-11 HMP31GP7AFR4C-Y5 AC-C 1124 as not compatable with this server it has p/n 405478-071 not 105478-071 as i put in previous post.

i've just moved alll the dimms that aren't this type in to 1 server, and that server now sees all 96gb

so if you have these type of dimms in the server, the insight display says you have 96gb, but at post and on the memory test on f10 it shows these dimms as not available, but does see a 8gb dimm in that slot.
