BL495c G6 Memory issues
I've had another BL495c G6 which when we've tried to upgrade the memory has failed to POST. Can anyone recomend what we could be doing wrong. the dimms i'm trying to install are 8gb dimms, and i'm placing the dimms in the furthest away sockets from the processors. The part number of the dimms I was trying are 405478-071 which I believe is valid. I can get the server to POST if I remove the dimms. Anyone else encounter problems with memory on the BL495c G6's?
Thanks

Re: BL495c G6 Memory issues
Thanks for the reply,
Can you confirm that 405478-071 isn't the same as part number 432671-001
as the part number you've quoted above are the Option part numbers, but those part numbers aren't the p/n you see on the actual Dimms.
