BL685 G7 and SB40c question

Ed had a question regarding the BL685c G7 and SB40c:

I seem to recall a slide or something indicating that the 685 G7 no longer needs the PCI Mezz Pass-Thru for accessing an SB40c.

Is that right?
Product Bulletin doesn’t show this mezz card as an Option for the BL685 c G7.

That is correct.  The PCI Pass-Thru Mezzanine Card is not required on the BL685c G6 or BL685c G7 server blade.
