Re: Blade not booting with virtual media cd-rom
It's attempting to boot, or you wouldn't get that far. Reset iLO and see if that clears it up. Either pull and re-insert the blade, or got into iLO web interface and under diagnostics click the reset button

Re: Blade not booting with virtual media cd-rom
Had already done a reset from the iLO and had to do a hardware reset from the OA for this bay number to get the remote console to this box to work again. Is it possible that it is a firewall issue? Although when you log into the old OS 5.4. The virtual CD is mounted.

Solution
The error message suggests that the issue is more with the ISO image. Please try a different ISO image and check if it works.

Re: Blade not booting with virtual media cd-rom
Vijayasarathy, you are absolutely correct. I redownloaded the iso image from the unix side again to my pc and it worked. I am suspecting it is the PGP software running on my laptop that may be corrupting the iso image. Since I configured three other systems with it before shutting down my pc. Will have to do some tests.

Re: Blade not booting with virtual media cd-rom
A bad ISO could be a reason, but a bad (old) ILO version could be a reason too.
One of the older versions may hung the virtual CD/DVD, a firmware update fix this.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
