Can you order an 8 core CPU with a ProLiant BL460 gen8?
Kathleen had a server configuration question:
*******************
Hello everyone,
My customer has the following question:
Is it possible and supported to order a BL460 Gen 8 server with an 8 core CPU (E5-2690), and later field upgrade it by adding another (E5-2690) 8 core CPU.
What are the implications with the memory assuming the server has four (647899-B21 HP 8GB 1Rx4 PC3-12800R-11 Kits)
*******************
Input from Taha:
*******************
Yes it can be done
Just need additional memory for second cpu when installed. To make sure that it will perform.
