HP SSA Physical Drive Size

We have 2 SSDs of size 1.6TB in a blade. While using the SSA to configure the logical drive with RAID1, what we see is that the the space is only 1.4TiB and it shows 1.6TB in the brackets. As a result, the logical drive too has only 1.4TiB of (usable) space.

Can somebody pls help understand why does SSA reduce the space from 1.6TB to 1.4TiB?
