HPE BL460 Blade and C7000 chassis remote registration

hi,

i am trying to register all of our devices in HP insight online. all the servers are working as they should but the chassis and blades are not appearing.

when i try to register the c7000 the following appears in the logs. this happens on all 4 chassis we have.
The submitted value contains an invalid character. (Web Proxy Server)
Protocol error occurred while communicating with the HPE Insight Remote Support receiver. See the Onboard Administrator system log for more information.

the firmware version is 4.70 for the OA.

I have done the same settings or 24 servers and they are all green and showing in the online sight but the others are listed but grey.

thanks

For any reason it doesn't like the values.

Check your input again.

Consider to try with IP address instead of hostname.

From online help:

Editing the web proxy settings

Proxy settings must be maintained to enable your enclosure to continue to send Remote Support data to Hewlett Packard Enterprise. If the proxy settings change, use the following procedure to edit them:

  1. Navigate to the Enclosure Information>Enclosure Settings>Remote Support page.
  2. Update the following settings, as needed:
    • Web Proxy Server—Enter the web proxy server in the format http://<hostname or IP address>.
    • Web Proxy Port
    • Web Proxy Username
    • Web Proxy Password

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
