Re: Hp Proliant BL460c g1 blinking red light *no rack
Please see my post
Maybe if there is enough interest HP will actually build a 2 u box.
I think it is almost criminal to sell this stuff without one.
Maybe there is a HP bench test setup that I don't know about.
Anyone with iodeas.
I have "hacked" too many yerars, these babies are too well engineered to just hack around with.
PS: I am a Silicon Valley veteran engineer of seventeen years also.

We need a way to bench test these thins for one.
They are cool, for another.
Maybe I just like exotic HP hardware.
I would buy a C3000 but they are not easy to find cheap.
Even that is big.
I just want to tinker with them.

Re: Hp Proliant BL460c g1 blinking red light *no rack
Sorry to bang on this topic so much, but if HP won't do the 2 u package for blade entry and testing, maybe the knockoffs can find a way.
This might be quite an obsticale technically and legally, but they may find a way.
I do not think that would be the best for everyone, but it might give cheap access to these servers.
