Network firmware missing, is it possible to copy drivers over via USB?

Hi

Setup: C7000, HP BL465c blades

I did an upgrade recently to the latest Centos 6.5. The upgrade appeared to go well however the network drivers failed to load after an upgrade. I tried downgrading but again network drivers were missing.

The core of my problem is that the only broadcom network drivers in the /lib/firmware/bnx2x directory are

bnx2x-e1-6.2.9.0.fw

bnx2x-e1h-6.2.9.0.fw

bnx2x-e2-6.2.9.0.fw

The oldest kernel on the server is version 2.6.32-358.23.el6.x86_64 which references bnx2x-e2-7.2.51.0.fw !

I have no idea how this situation happened however it feels like catch 22. I can't get the required drivers on because I have no networking..... I tried to reproduce this on another server but it upgraded fine and all the expected drivers were present.

What options do I have to get the firmware drivers onto the server?

Is there a way to copy the drivers onto the server via a USB key inserted into the OA?

Can I connect the cable with USB and VGA feeds to the server and connect in a USB stick?

Is it possible to do this remotely?

Thanks in advance

I copied the drivers on using the dongle and a USB stick.

Please consider this resolved.
