New HP BladeSystem G6 blades launched
Last week HP released the next generation, G6, blade servers with the latest Intel Nehalem processors. We have seen big performance increases with the latest Intel chips and have made significant changes to the blades to support 10Gb ethernet onboard, increased memory capacity, lower power, server support for VC Flex-10, and a host of other improvements. We announced these three ProLiant G6 server blades, BL460c G6, BL490c, G6, and the BL280c G6. Below is some additional information about these servers.
