OA: PS Subsystem N + N Redundancy - FAILED/REPAIRED
Hello, I have an issue that is similar to this one, however I am not being told any additional information. I am not seeing any errors on the PDU's that this BladeChassis is connected to, and there are no errors about which power supplies are failing either. Is this a false positive? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Re: OA: PS Subsystem N + N Redundancy - FAILED/REPAIRED
Hi,
First of all, have you checked ps status? You can use "show all" from OA to check this.
In case they are ok, with that firmware version (4.22) it could be a false positive. In last version, 4.40 release notes http://h20566.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c04427725 (page 8) we find:
"When running OA firmware 4.0x, 4.1x, or 4.2x, the OA could erroneously report fans and/or
power supplies as missing or failed even though they were not physically removed or failed.
When this issue occurred, after a few seconds the affected fans and/or power supplies would
reappear as normal. There are no known functional impacts associated with this issue other than
associated brief status reporting anomalies."
So recommendation would be to update OA firmware.
Hope this helps!
