Raid 1 with different capacity question on blades
Mohammed had a disk question about Raid 1 version:
******************
I need to know if there is a way to convert a raid 0 disk to a raid 1 using another disk with higher capacity....
Or creating a raid 1 with 2 disks of the same capacity, and then take of one disk and insert another higher capacity disk.. Will that work?
**************
Input from Hiro:
****************
Yes, it works.
You can only use same capacity of smaller HDD for bigger HDD.
For example, if you configure RAID1 using a 72GB HDD and a 146GB HDD, you can only use 72GB of the 146GB HDD.
Hope this helps.

Any other input or comments?
