Required parts to run C7000
Hello everybody,
I'm using Dl585 G7 with 4x amd 6276.
Due to a large amount of work I'm having now I'm thinking about switching to a C7000 with 16 blades of Bl465c G7 2x amd 6276.
I never had a blade system in my life. I have seen some used C7000 chassis on ebay with different pricing and components.
Here is my question, Other than all fans, 6 power supply, 16 blades of bl465c, one on boarding management module.
Is there anything else I would need in order to have it run?
I just want to install windows 10 and use it as computer/render farm.
Please advice.
I greatly appreciate any help.

Re: Required parts to run C7000
You need a kind of interconnect to provide network to the servers. There are several switches, pass-thru modules and virtual connect.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Required parts to run C7000
It depends on your needs and cost.
As said, pass-thru, switches (several models) and virtual connect is possible
The C7000 quickspec will tell you the choice of modules.
Pass-thru is likely not your choice.
Switches start with an old GbE2c, but there are also some cisco and procurve models.
Better consider a pair of VC modules.

Hope this helps!
