Should all Hyper-V machines in a cluster have the same quantity of RAM?

A customer cluster question from Gary:

I have a customer implementing 4 physical servers, and 2 of them will have twice the memory that the other 2 have.  They want to form a cluster among all 4.  Are there any “gotchas” here if the physical servers have unequal amounts of memory?

You would have a very bad situation of both servers with double memory failed...

 

I always go for equal servers in ESX-clusters, same memory \ same cpu, makes the HA \ DRS more logical.
