VMware and iLO - not working on one HP proliant
Hello all,
I have 3 Proliant servers of a similar age, all running identical versions of ESXi (5.5.0 3568722)
On one of them iLO isn't working, and I can't ping its IP. The iLO port is connected to a switch but no LED is showing.
I have eliminated the switch port and cable as being an issue. It was working, it suddenly stopped recently.
I have SSH'd in and checked in hpocnfg -g and it shows as running with the correct IP address.
hpocnfg -w shows the correct expected output MyIndigoCard Login
I can't reboot this server and get into bios for a while so my question is - can I load something in vmware that will help me troubleshoot this?
many thanks

Re: VMware and iLO - not working on one HP proliant
Hello Delphaa,
There are no commands from Esxi perspective in order to troubleshoot a problem with the ILO .However from the description it appears to be a problem on the Physical Network .We would request you to open a Support request for the same .
