Windows Server 2008 R2 won't boot after install on HP ProLiant BL460c G6
I created a bootable SmartStart USB drive, then I copied the retail Windows Server 2008 R2 iso to the root of the USB drive. I booted off the SmartStart USB drive and I was able to install Windows Server 2008 R2. Sadly, Windows won't boot. The blade tries to boot from the NIC. I even did a one time boot option and selected boot from internal HDD. Yet, the blade still won't boot.

Re: Windows Server 2008 R2 won't boot after install on HP ProLiant BL460c G6
The Server try to boot from NIC, if there is no bootable Disk Drive.
Boot again from the USB and enter Setup.
Check if it list an Installed OS and if it set as Bootable.
From the Windows Setup you can go to the Commandline and check the Disk with Diskpart.
(Google for: windows setup diskpart)
