upgrade network card firmware on BL460c
Hello,
I'm trying to upgrade the firmware on my BL460c blade. I am running CentOS 7.3 and am getting the following error:
[root@hdp05 tmp]# yum install kmod-be2net Loaded plugins: fastestmirror Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile * base: ftpmirror.your.org * epel: mirror.steadfast.net * extras: bay.uchicago.edu * updates: mirror.sesp.northwestern.edu Resolving Dependencies --> Running transaction check ---> Package kmod-be2net.x86_64 0:11.1.145.27-1.rhel7u2 will be installed --> Processing Dependency: kernel(vxlan_get_rx_port) = 0x13337dc4 for package: kmod-be2net-11.1.145.27-1.rhel7u2.x86_64 --> Processing Dependency: kernel(ndo_dflt_bridge_getlink) = 0x665bd73b for package: kmod-be2net-11.1.145.27-1.rhel7u2.x86_64 --> Finished Dependency Resolution Error: Package: kmod-be2net-11.1.145.27-1.rhel7u2.x86_64 (spp) Requires: kernel(vxlan_get_rx_port) = 0x13337dc4 Installed: kernel-3.10.0-229.el7.x86_64 (@anaconda) kernel(vxlan_get_rx_port) = 0xf1428295 Error: Package: kmod-be2net-11.1.145.27-1.rhel7u2.x86_64 (spp)
I was able to get the iscsi driver upgraded but getting this now. If there is a manual process vs an RPM that was built for Redhat, I could deal with that.

Re: upgrade network card firmware on BL460c
You need the driver for RHEL 7.3, the driver for RHEL 7.2 won't install. If you check the revision history for kmod-be2net-11.1.145.27-1.rhel7u2.x86_64, you will see there is a newer driver version, and it includes a version for RHEL 7.3 (which should work with CentOS)
kmod-be2net-11.2.1226.2-1.rhel7u3.x86_64.rpm
