A new 10GbE pass-thru module for HP BladeSystem c-Class is now available from HP. It offers 1:1 unmanaged connectivity between 10G/1G Ethernet ports on blade servers and external Ethernet switches. If you absolutely need an unmanaged 10GbE connection from the blade enclosure to the rest of the network this is now available When connected to an ultra-low latency 10GbE switch upstream from the HP BladeSystem, the HP 10GbE Pass-Thru module offers high bandwidth, low latency, unmanaged connectivity for latency sensitive high performance computing applications like financial analytics.
