Beacon Probing with HP 1/10Gb Virtual Connect and LACP enabled

Hi,

 

I am looking for some references or technical notes about interoperability between vSwitch(ESX 3.5 and 4.1) with Beacon Probing enabled and HP 1/10Gb Virtual Connect (Firmware 3.18).

Hopefully you can help me and answer some questions...:)

 

How does the VC behaves with beacon probing enabled at vSwitch.?? Will the beacon broadcast be forwarded to physical switches or it will be "closed" within enclosure and VC domain.

How does the VC handle MAC duplication at uplinks...?

 

What is the impact of the LACP aggregation (at VC Uplink) at vSwitch with Beacon Probing, is there any..??

 

Is this a "supported" configuration...??

 

All switches with Beacon Probing have 3 pNICs.
