Customer has a failed VC Flex-10 module. Best way to replace?

One of our customer has a failed VC Flex-10 module in Slot 1. Customer have several uplinks and networks.

The VC Domain consist of 4 Flex-10 Ethernet modules in one C-7000 chassi.

What is the best way to remove/replace the failed module in slot one?

Do i really need to remove all uplinks/networks from failed module?

Why cant i just "remove failed Flex-10 from domain" and "join the new spare Flex-10 to domain"

The module is hot swappable.  You should be able to physically remove the cables connected to it, remove and replace the module with a new one, and reconnect the cables.  It would be recommended, if you have another enclosure, to ensure that the module is at the same firmware version as the existing module.
