DAC support for Virtual Connect FlexFabric/Flex-10 modules

Marcus had a question about supported DAC cables for the new Virtual Connect FlexFabric and Flex-10 modules. The latest Virtual Connect Manager now allows other than HP DAC cables to be supported.:

Is there any information out yet what ProCurve DACs are/will be supported with the new FlexFabric modules?

Jeroen provided the answer:

The Procurve ones are marked in blue.

All other DAC cables will work but a (single) notification will be logged in the syslog of VC saying they are not approved but will allow them to be connected.

Nice to have this latest feature. Just make sure you get good cables. Has anyone tried a brand that they find "questionable" in quality?
