Direct link of Virtual Connect Fibre Channel uplinks to a SAN array

One question the customer has is concerning point-to-point connectivity.  Blade Virtual Connect -FC 8GB 24 port---> a SorageWorks P9500 SAN array bypassing the SAN switch.  Is this possible and/or supported?  Thanks.

No, VC-FC must connect to a SAN switch capable of NPIV. It is required whether using independent VC-FC modules or FlexFabric FCoE modules.
