Does Rapid Deployment Program (RDP) Work with BL460G7 with Emulex CNA?
Vivian had a customer quesiton on RDP:
*****************
Customer has BL460 G7s and uses RDP. The CNA will not successfully PXE boot. Support has told them that it is a known issue and nothing can be done until a new Emulex driver is produced by Emulex.
Customer told by HP support: RDP does not have Emulex drivers. Unfortunately, this prevents us from deploying blades using RDP.
I have done some searching, but I can’t seem to find mention of this exact problem or resolution.
Any information would be helpful and most appreciated.

No, it works, we do it all the time with Matrix 6.3. You need at least RDP version 6.2 with an update (the update is in our Matrix package so I don’t know the separate RDP version number). Also, make sure to Enable PXE boot in the Virtual Connect profile if you are using VC or go into the BIOS itself and enable PXE.

Any other comments or help for Vivian?
