Does VC Flex-10 and FlexFabric modules support Non-HP 10GbE SR/LR/LRM SFP+ transceiver module?

Hi, Experts.

I know HP Virtual Connect will “allow” non-HP DAC cables to be connected to VC Flex-10 and FlexFabric modules.

I wonder if it is the same for Non-HP 10GbE SR/LR/LRM SFP+ transceiver module?

By my understanding, VC Flex-10 and FlexFabric modules only support the transceiver module which are listed in QuickSpecs.

Am I right?

Yes, you're right. DACs are "special" because they have 2 ends (duh!) and plug into 2 different devices, possibly from 2 different vendors. But for optic transceivers, no 3rd party allowed.
