ETH 0 and lo on Virtual Connect

Gary had a question as he was monitoring Virtual Connect ports:

****************************************************************

Today I set up network monitoring via SNMP of a virtual connect module,  works like a champ.  There is just one thing I couldn’t find in the documentation, what are the etho and lo interfaces?   The rest of the labeling is pretty self explanatory.

Thanks for  your help

Pretty picture to show what I see below.

Lionel answered the question:

If I remember correctly, eth0 is the VCM interface and Io is the interface connected to the OA

Nice to see how you can monitor network traffic using SNMP. Any comments or suggestions?
