FCOE and Boot from San with VC FlexFabric modules
Question from John regarding Boot From San (BFS)
*************
Do we have any cookbooks or documentation on setting up Boot from San via Flexfabric/FCoE? I just have iSCSi and BFS documentation.

Reply from Fred:

Yes, the FlexFabric Cookbook in particular http://h20628.www2.hp.com/km-ext/kmcsdirect/emr_na-c02616817-5.pdf Scenario 3 talks about FCoE boot from SAN.

And advice from Dan:
***************
Its very easy on Fibre Channel.
If you are using the NC534 and having issues, make sure you get the firmware up to the latest and if installing ESXi, use the Sept HP version as it has the matching Broadcom driver.
