Fast way to reset Virtual connect devices to default settings
I have over 40 VC devices to rest back to manufacture defaults before sending back to HP.
Is there a way to rest VC devices to default setting by moving jumpers and powering cycling with the rest button?
Same goes goes for the OA boards.
Id prefer not to console or IP into each device. I

Re: Fast way to reset Virtual connect devices to default settings
Place the VC module in a different enclosure with active power to the latter, and pressing and holding the reset button on the front panel for at least 10 seconds. When moved from a VC domain and placed into an enclosure not part of a VC domain, VC-FC modules retain assigned mappings until reset to the factory default.
To reset the Onboard Administrator, press and hold in the Onboard Administrator reset button for 5 seconds, while it is in an enclosure which is powered on.
