Re: How to remove 1 port in Virtual Connect Synergy 1
Hello,
Ok. You have 2 uplink ports from each ICM (ICM 3 and ICM 6) with Active-Active with LACP on core switch.
To change the uplink config from 2 port to 1 port from each ICM, you need to edit the uplink set on the Logical Interconnect Group (LIG).
Oneview --> Logical Interconnect Group --> Choose the Network LIG--> Edit --> Edit the "Uplink set"--> remove the uplink port which you wanted to remove --> Then click ok.
Once LIG is updated, you would need to perform Update from Group on the Logical Enclosure "Action " menu.
This would apply the configuration to VC module to use the single ports from both ICMs.
Once done, you need to update the LACP config on the core switch accordingly.
Ideally this should not cause any impact, however perform the changes during maintenance window.
Hope this helps..

Re: How to remove 1 port in Virtual Connect Synergy 1
Hello,
The server downtime may not be required, since you are just removing the one uplink.. Other uplink should be active.
However, you might see network / storage disconnects depends on the uplink that you are removing it.
So better plan to do the same during planned maintenance window or during less load. so that impact would be lesser incase of any issue.
Hope this helps.
