Increase Shared Uplink Set from 1Gb to 10GB cabling
To all,
Want To Do:
- Increase Shared Uplink Set from 1GB to 10Gb cabling.
Given:
- c7000 blade chassis with two VC FlexFabric 10Gb/24-port modules.
- Connected to two HP 5500 switches via Shared Uplink Sets.
- Shared Uplink Sets are four 1Gb Ethernets, two sets for redundancy (8 total 1Gb lines).
- Connections are trunked as two Link Aggregation Groups
Questions:
- Can I upgrade my 1Gb to 10Gb live without service interruption?
- I read I can't have a mix of 1Gb and 10Gb in a group. Does that mean no live interruption?
- I have two LAGs. Since I have two, will one stay up and handle traffic without interruption while I upgrade the other?
Thank you.
-Paul
