Max numnber of VLANS in a Multiple Networks configuration? (refresher)
Joe needed a VLAN refresher:
********************
Does anyone know the maximum number of VLANS in Multiple Networks selection. We were not premitted to beyond 40 VLANS in a Active/Active configuration. Firmware is VC 3.18 and OA 3.30.
Thanks,
********************
Dave supplied the answer:
******************
This is from the Release Notes portion of the VC Ethernet Cookbook.
The following Shared Uplink Set rules apply per domain:
* 320 Unique VLANs per Virtual Connect Ethernet module
* 128 Unique VLANs per Shared Uplink Set
* 28 Unique Server Mapped VLANs per Server Profile Network Connection
Please see the Virtual Connect 2.30 Release Notes for future details on these and other new features.
Thanks,
