Migration Path to move to a newer Virtual Connect module
Mark was looking for VC module migration advice:
******************
Could someone give me an advice how I can migrate this interconnects?
VC 1/10Gb Ethernet Module to VC Flex-10/10D Module
HP 4Gb VC-FC Module to VC 8Gb 20-Port
Do I need downtime? Can I go with backup (domain) and restore? Or do I have to create a new domain?
*****************
Input from Steve:
**************
Yes, you will need downtime to do this. You will need to replace all modules at once, and re-create the VC Domain. You can’t backup the existing domain and restore it to different modules.
