One CNA per each server - Planning for storage connectivity and network
Hi,
I have some BL460c G6 & G7 servers on my environment that connected to two Flex-10 modules in each enclosure.
Flex-10 handling our network connection and we are using Pass-Thru for our storage connectivity as well.
I have a plan to add G7 servers to production and my boss ordered two Flex-Fabric modules per enclosure and two CNA adapters for each G6 servers.
So I want to add one CNA to each server (G6&G7) and leave network connectivity on Flex-10 modules.
I know, each port of CNA adapter can divided to four NIC but I'll use them just for storage connectivity.
Please advise me about the plan.
Thanks

I think you can do that, but if memory serves correct you won't be able to keep your existing domain as that has to reside on the FlexFabric modules.
