Question about VSAN and Virtual Connect

Timo had a question regarding Virtual Connect support for multiple Virtual Storage Array Networks (VSAN):

I have an RFP requiring support for at least 25 VSAN. Looked through cookbooks, user manuals and release notes and I could not find any number.

Is there a document that I missed?

Input from Vincent:

From the latest FCoE cookbook:

Up to 32 FCoE networks can be associated with any single set of uplink ports using the Multi-FCoE Network per Uplink Set support in VC 4.20 or later.

With multi-FCoE Network per Uplink Set support, customers can benefit from Virtual SANs (VSANs) support but can also have the ability to provide connectivity to multiple types of SAN from the same Virtual Connect set of ports.

This is also in the VC user guide:

Up to 32 FCoE networks can be associated with any single set of uplink ports.

Note that the term VSAN is becoming quite ambiguous as Cisco and VMware use it to refer to 2 totally different things.

Here is the link to the latest Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) Cookbook that Vincent refers to:
