Quick VC Scripting assistance ... Resetting all Stats on all Ports on both VC modules
Charles looking for help on resetting all the Stats on VC modules:
*****************
I need to frequently reset all Stats on all Sorts on both VC modules, is there something
already out there ? Can anyone assist with a swift example ?

There is no zero or clear command to completely reset the cumulative statistics. The VC CLI can reset the port statistics, but it is only a reset, and only resets for the current login session. When you log out of VC, the original cumulative counters will return. The reset is a means to establish a zero reference. If you reset, then show, you will see the differences since the reset.
->reset statistics <PortID>
The <port ID> on which to reset statistics. The port ID must be in the format <EnclosureID>:<BayNumber>:<PortLabel>
To reset statistics for uplink port X5 on Flex-10 bay2:
->reset statistics enc0:2:X5
To reset statistics on downlink port for blade server in bay7 connected to VC bay1:
->reset statistics enc0:1:d7

Has anybody used a different method to accomplish this? Let us know.
