Shared Uplink Set is required or not

Hi Community,

I have configured VC with two interfaces dedicated for ethenet network (one is for Operation & Maintenance and second for traffic network), but after configuration traffic ips are not accessible from outside network (but if i changed default gateway with traffic gw, traffic network become accesible from outside, but in this process lost connectivity with ONM network).

I got a suggestion that i have to configure VC with shared uplink set (SUS), not sure whether its really required.

Please suggest whether SUS is required or not, if its required then how can i changed in my current configuration as i have configured everything in 8+1 cluster system.
