Stacking 1/10Gb VC ethernet modules

Hello,

 

I realise that its possible to stack VC connect modules verticaly with CX4 cables, however is it possible to use standard 1Gb RJ45? I have tried this and still get a red cross next to stacking links

Yes, it is. Make sure firmware is identical on all VC connect modules
