Updated Virtual Connect and Cisco Nexus Integration Documentation
Reginald was looking for some newer VC to Cisco Nexus documentation:
***************
Do we have any updated Virtual Connect and Cisco Nexus integration documentation? Some of the documents that I’ve been looking at are dated and was wondering if there is anything for 2013? Customer is looking for documentation to do integration of Virtual Connect and their Nexus switches. Wondering if there is something a little more current.
*********************
Info from Kant:
*************
There are two ways to connect Virtual Connect to Nexus via Ethernet interface - one is regular/lossy Ethernet and another one is via DCB (FCoE) aka lossless. We have two documents that describe steps to connect regular Ethernet (attached) and I don’t expect these documents to change with every release. The Dual-hop cookbook, which we published with VC 4.01, lays out steps to connect with DCB Ethernet.
Is there any specific configuration your customer is interested that not in these cookbooks. See attached for the whitepapers.
