Using an NC364M quad port NIC in BL465G7/C7000
Hello all,
I wonder if somebody could help with the below?
I have two BL465 G7 blades fitted with the embedded Flex-10 plus a NC364M 4 port 1Gb NIC mez card
At the back of the C7000 enc I have two 1/10Gb VC modules.
I have the two 1/10Gb VC modules situated in bays 3 and 4 and the NC364M is in Mez slot 1 in the blades
(I found that if I had the 1/10Gb VC modules in bays 1 and 2 I would get mez card/port mismatches within the OA)
From using the onboard administrator I can only see two ports being displayed (1 on each VC interconnect)
I need to get the use of 4 NIC ports somehow, using either the onboard Flex-10 or the 4 port NIC mez card
Can anyone please advise what I need to configure/purchase?
Thanks
Simon

Re: Using an NC364M quad port NIC in BL465G7/C7000
Hi.
The port mapping in the c7000 is hardwired. See the diagram in the link below. The hardwiring from mezz slot 1 only allow 2 nics to get connected.
I'm not familiar with the VC modules so i can't give you any advice on them.
Regards
