VC switch Power redundancy

There are two VC switch.

My VC-SW-1 is connect to HP-sw-1 and VC-SW-2 is connect to HP-sw-2.

Now when I poweroff the one of the VC-sw from OnBoard Administrator GUI my blades become unreachable.

I have enabled smart links for Ethernet Network as well as Associated Network of Shared Uplinks.

Kindly, share your expirence, if there is something I missed to enable to make the VC-Switches redundant.

Actually I'm new to C7000 enclosure may be my terminologies are not correct.

Each VC-Sw has 10 ports ( X1, X2, ..... X10 ) they are internally connected to Blades. ( there are virtualNICport  )

Re: VC switch Power redundancy

Yes but you need to configure nic (team or bonding) in order to get rundondancy

Re: VC switch Power redundancy

Hi

Check your server's NIC teaming/bonding, make sure each server profile has two links, one from each VC to avoid connectivity loss during switch outage.
