Virtual Connect FC Fabric settings greyed out

Good day ,

I'm quite new to this blade setup. Currently I inherited this system from an admin who left and now I need to add in additional FC Fabric in my virtual connect. Not sure why the setting is greyed out.

I am using super admin already.

NPIV already enabled on switches.

Cables already connected (fc)

Click the Add Port blue drop down towards the bottom.
Any free FC ports?
Perhaps you have run out of free ports?

As a side note, your firmware for both OA and VC (and likely the blades inside) are VERY old. Approaching 4 years with no updates.

thanks for the quick reply

Actually even for existing settings I can't seem to edit. very strange unless I need to shutdown all the blades in the enclosure.

Hi Casper,

managed to fix the problem. Can't believe IE10 cannot run virtual connect.

When I use firefox instead I could do the configuration. thanks for the your help

Re: Virtual Connect FC Fabric settings greyed out

Its the other way around. Your VC is so old it was out long before IE10 was.

Native IE10 support wasn't added till the most recent 4.10 release.
The past few releases would work as long as you enabled Compatibility View.

This is another reason to plan out and upgrade your environment.
