Virtual Connect Flex-10/10D module question
Joe needed to understand how some of the ports worked on the new VC Flex-10/10D module:
******************
We have a c7000 enclosure being order with VC Flex-10 modules. The order request came back saying the VC Flex-10 modules have been replaced by the Flex-10/10D modules. I looked at the quick spec and it is showing this module now has 10 ports rather than the 8 ports the prev flex-10 modules had. What is not clear is the cross connects to modules in adjacent bays. With the previous flex-10 modules I would leave ports X7 and X8 disconnected. Do I leave ports X9 and X10 disconnected on these new modules or is the cross connects now internal leaving X9 and X10 available for uplinks ?

All 10 faceplate ports can be used for uplinks. And you still have 4 cross-connects going to the adjacent bay. No port sharing at all.
