Virtual Connect (VC) FlexFabric modules supported transceiver types

Alistair had a FlexFabric question:

In the VC FlexFabric user guide state that port X1-X4 does not support 1Gb SFP transceivers, does that mean it does not support both 1Gb SFP and 1Gb RJ-45 SFP transceivers?

Correct.

On FlexFabric, Ports X1-X4 can operate at 10Gb (Ethernet), or 2/4/8Gb FC only.  1Gb Ethernet is NOT supported in any form.

Also, Ports X5-X8 can operate at 10Gb Ethernet of 1Gb Ethernet, no FC.
