arp between 2 vic ports?

my iscsi storage has redundancy built in, but uses arp between the ports for some light house keeping.  It appears that the vics by default drops arp traffic between the ports, am I missing something or is there a setting to be enabled?

Re: arp between 2 vic ports?

How does this relate to Virtual Connect?

Did you connect your iSCSI Storage directly to the Virtual Connect external ports?

Virtual Connect is not a switch.
It does not allow traffic to come in from one uplink port and leave another.
If your iSCSI storage is connected to the VC Uplinks directly, then that is exactly what its trying to do with the ARP check and why its failing.

If you can configure the storage with iSCSI Multipathing in such a way that it doesn't ARP check, you could probably pull this off.
Otherwise you will need to connect the iSCSI to a regular switch and then connect VC to that Switch as well.
